Decante Vinhos Warehouse

This project is the renovation of an existing warehouse building in Amadora for Decante Vinhos, a wine distribution company. The brief combined the operational needs of a working warehouse, storage, loading dock and vehicle access, with a new office area and two multipurpose rooms for client meetings and wine tastings.
The ground floor keeps the warehouse and loading functions, together with a small office and staff support areas. The upper floor houses a row of individual offices along one side, plus the two feature rooms (Sala 1.1 and Sala 1.2), designed around a custom wood-slat wall system that doubles as a wine display and storage feature (bottles held in both horizontal and vertical slatted panels), combined with grey mirrored panels and glazed openings for natural light. Walls float clear of both floor and ceiling, finished with a stainless steel reveal detail, and the ceiling has suspended panels with dimmable 4000K LED lighting. Flooring throughout, warehouse included, is white epoxy resin.
At the entrance, a ramp finished in cork-effect PVC serves both pedestrians and light vehicles, leading to a loading bay fitted with sectional doors for deliveries.
Overall, the project turns a standard warehouse shell into a functional distribution facility with a refined, branded interior for the office and client-facing spaces.
